SQUIRRELS

Non-native grey squirrels have a lot to answer for in terms of the impact they have on other species of flora and fauna. Which is why landowners often need an effective squirrel management plan in place in order to be eligible for woodland management grants.  That says it all really. 

Closer to home, squirrels cause extensive damage to lawns and crops, and if they were to gain access to your loft space, all bets are off! They will rip through insulation, chew up woodwork, displace tiles, damage thatched roofing and gnaw through electrical wires, creating a fire risk.
